STANDING RULES
OF THE
BIG HORN BASIN BOAT CLUB
Member Units shall be limited to 125. Dues and Fees, including but not limited to Application Fees, Member Dues, Lot Lease Fees, RV Campsite Fees, and Boat Slip Lease Fees are voted upon by the membership based upon recommendations from The Board. The current fees are listed on the Website bhbbc.org . As per Article XII, Section 2 of the Bylaws, “Dues and fees shall be payable thirty (30) days after the receipt of the dues and/or fees statement each fiscal year. Failure to pay dues or fees is dealt with in Article XII, Section 3 of the Bylaws.
All members should review the By-laws, the Standing Rules and their Lease Agreements on a yearly basis.
Member Units and/or Memberships shall not be sold or inherited.
As per the Rules and Regulations of the Wyoming State Parks, all pets shall be “…physically controlled at all times”. All pets brought onto the State Park Land leased by the Boat Club shall be kept on a leash or otherwise confined to a vehicle or trailer space. Pet owners or handlers shall be responsible for proper removal and disposal of the animal’s waste wherever it may occur.
Water other than that from the Ice House has not been treated and is considered as NON-POTABLE water by the EPA. It is the Member’s responsibility to inform their guests of the water situation. The Ice House door shall remain locked when the Ice House is not in use and children shall not play in or around the Ice House.
Camp trailers and motor homes being used for overnight camping shall park in the area provided for them unless specific permission to park on a lot has been granted by the Lot Lease Holder. There shall be RV Campsite Fees charged per RV per night paid to the Big Horn Basin Boat Club when parked in the RV Campsite Area. Fees will be posted on the website (BHBBC.org) and at the camping sites. Reservations are required. Electrical hook-ups are provided, but no water or sewer hook-ups shall be allowed. No water shall be drained upon the ground. No RV shall be parked in the RV Campsite Area for more than fourteen (14) out of thirty (30) consecutive nights.
Please limit your boat parking time at the Boat Club Launching Dock to 15 minutes. No boats shall be moored to the Boat Club Launching Dock overnight. In addition, there shall be no playing, fishing or swimming from the Boat Club Launching Dock.
Non-members using the Boat Club’s facilities shall be accompanied by a Boat Club Member.
Definition: Boat Club Facilities are defined to be all facilities not subleased to individual Boat Club Members. For example: Clubhouse, water/ice house, boat slips, etc.
All garbage shall be placed in plastic bags and tied before being put into the dumpsters. Please recycle everything that you can. In addition, please place all weeds, lawn clippings and tree limbs in the Burn Pile.
As per our Lease Agreement with the Wyoming State Parks, all vehicles, trailers, ORVs and operators of said vehicles shall possess the proper permits and licensing, stay on designated roads and …“observe the posted speed limit” of ten (10) miles per hour.
A request for any development, improvement or usage of Common Land shall be submitted in writing to the Board of Directors and shall be approved by the Board before any development, improvement or usage begins. A request for any improvement, development or usage of Common Land shall include, but is not limited to, plans, drawings, dimensions, ongoing maintenance, and any other specific information.
Definition: Common Land shall be defined as the land leased from the State of Wyoming by the Big Horn Basin Boat Club that has not been divided into Trailer Lots and leased to Members.
